This life can be hard. Believe me, I know. I’ve been to a place where everything seems so hopeless and you just want to give up. I’m here to tell you know that instead of taking the wheel on your life and trying to fix everything yourself, give Jesus the wheel. I’ve noticed that when life gets hard, my first reaction sometimes can be to try to fix it myself or let the darkness consume me. But when I make my initial reaction praying to God, putting up my hands in the air and giving Him all my problems, struggles, insecurities, brokenness…I’m changed. I have this fire in my heart that’s burning for Jesus and all I want to do is tell the world how Jesus helped/saved me yet again from my brokenness and struggles.
“God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God” (Ephesians 2:8 NLT).
God wants you at not only your best, but your worse as well. God is not like the world. When we mess up He doesn’t turn His back on us…Instead He turns towards us with His hand ready to grasp ours, but He gives us the freedom of choice to decide when we are ready to take His hand and join Him on the narrow way. When you cast all your worries and fears to Him, He will give you truth. You are so beautiful and worthy in God’s eyes. To Him, you are a masterpiece. When you give Him your whole entire self and you allow Him to, you will be changed for the better. You will be stronger, confident and joyful with Him by your side. Have faith. Don’t take on this world alone. You have Jesus and He will provide you with everything you need. Don’t let the brokenness and darkness overpower you…You have Jesus, the King of all and nothing is impossible with Him.
“Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7 NLT).
Amen.
