Welcome Home

,

Happy Sabbath! It’s been a while, but I am finally back to writing for you all. This was always a great way for me to not only share the good news of Jesus, but it was a nice outlet for me to put all my thoughts out there regarding whatever topic spoke to me for that specific week. I truly started to miss it. My life has been so busy with school, work, etc. and it was hard to make time for this. Now I feel like I’m at a place where I have a good prioritization going on in my life, so I thought why not give it a try again. Writing these posts have always brought me joy especially hearing and seeing the impact it had on some of you that read my weekly posts. Please keep me in your prayers that God blesses me with the motivation and time to keep this up because I have felt a desire to start writing these posts again, and I truly believe it was God speaking to me as I believe this is one of the “gifts” He has blessed me with. “We all have different gifts. Each gift came because of the grace God gave us. Whoever has the gift of prophecy should use that gift in a way that fits the kind of faith they have. Whoever has the gift of serving should serve. Whoever has the gift of teaching should teach. Whoever has the gift of comforting others should do that. Whoever has the gift of giving to help others should give generously. Whoever has the gift of leading should work hard at it. Whoever has the gift of showing kindness to others should do it gladly”. (Romans 12:6-8 ERV). God has given each and every one of us a gift that fits the faith we have, and the purpose God created for us. You may be wondering, what is my God-given gift? I have had this thought during my walk of the narrow way multiple times, but my answer for you is prayer. The best way to know your God-given gift is by talking with God and He will make it known in His time. I stopped blogging for 3 years, and I cannot even tell you how many times I heard God’s voice telling me that this was my gift in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. I just had to open my heart to Him and allow Him to fill my heart with His Holy Spirit. I am sure there are times where excuses come to mind: “oh I don’t have the time”, “I am not good enough to do this”, etc. Those are lies from the devil. Satan wants you to believe those lies so you fall further away from our Heavenly Father. The Christian walk is not always linear everyone. There are going to be moments where we fall, where we doubt, etc. and that is why we need God in our lives. He is our protector from the evil one and his lies. “But the Lord is faithful. He will give you strength and protect you from the Evil One” (2 Thessalonians 3:3 ERV). Even when we fall short, or have moments of weakness, God will never give up on you. God’s love is NOT conditional. God’s love is unconditional. Just like the prodigal son, God is waiting for us to return back home to Him and when we do return, it will be the most joyous day as the whole heavens will be celebrating and God will be smiling down at us. He only wants the best for us, and we truly are safest when we are in the arms of God. “You can trust the Lord to protect you. He will not let you fall into harm” (Proverbs 3:26 ERV). He is waiting for you now with open arms. Trust in Him to protect you and He will guide you to your created purpose when the time is right.

“The Lord is your Protector. The Lord stands by your side, shading and protecting you. The sun cannot harm you during the day, and the moon cannot harm you at night. The Lord will protect you from every danger. He will protect your soul. The Lord will protect you as you come and go, both now and forever!” (Psalms 121:5-8 ERV).

Amen.
