The world can be a scary place. Satan tries every tactic that he has to bring you away from forming an everlasting relationship with Jesus. Because of the negatives in the world, it can lead to some uneasy feelings like anxiety, depression, etc. It can become a lot to handle and could lead to you feeling alone. I am here to say that you are not alone and there is a way to find comfort amongst the scary world we are dealing with. That way is called the narrow way with Jesus.

“Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for You are close beside me. Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me” (Psalm 23:4 NLT).

Jesus will always protect and comfort you no matter how small, or big the storm may be. If you are ever amongst “the darkest valley”, look to Jesus for comfort. Satan will try his hardest to fill your mind with uncontrolling fear, but choosing God will always ends in victory. Instead of allowing Satan to have control over you, submit yourself to Jesus and I promise you will be filled with wonderful and needed comfort.

Whenever I am walking through “the darkest valley”, I will admit it is hard for me to immediately give all my worries and fear to God. Instead, I try to control the situation which leads to more anxiety and fear. But as soon as I give it all to God, I notice this feeling of comfort wash over me and I feel free from the anxiety and fear that was holding me back. Going to God first every time is something I work on every day, but I highly recommend it because you will be filled with comfort, protection and strength to overcome “the darkest valley”.

“For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with His comfort through Christ” (2 Corinthians 1:5 NLT).

No matter how hard life may get, God is our comfort.
