Thankful

Happy Sabbath! I hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving despite what is going on in our world. Thanksgiving is such a meaningful holiday that really opens our eyes to the blessings in our lives. I know this Thanksgiving I was so thankful to be with my family, and for all the amazing people in my life. I was also thankful for the glorious God that loves us all unconditionally. Without God, I would not be who I am today. God has always saved me from many tribulations that have tried to destroy me in my past. I will always be thankful for our God who does not give up on us no matter how much we messed up.

“Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever” (Psalms 106:1 NIV).

I know it may not be Thanksgiving anymore, but I want you to take a moment today when you get the chance to make a list whether it be on your phone, or on a piece of paper of everything you are thankful for. I want you to also make a list of every thing God has blessed you with, or helped you through. Doing this will bring to light all the blessings in your life, and will dim out the negatives and trials that the devil is trying to bring into your life.

“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57 NIV).

No matter what tribulations and trials the devil puts in your life, God always has the victory in the end. That is something to have hope for, and to be thankful about. God will never give up on you. He will save you time and time again. Just repent, and choose Him. Choosing the narrow way with Christ is the path to victory. It may take time and hardship, but with God, you will always end up victorious.

Thank you Jesus for everything.

Amen.
