Live by Faith

Have you ever heard the quote: “Live your life to the fullest?” well that quote is what inspired me to write this particular blog post about living by faith. It is easier said than done, but with God, nothing is impossible. Faith in Christ is not something we just talk about; it is something we should live out. Another “quote” that stands out to me is: “actions speak louder than words”. Someone may say they are a Christian, but are they really living by faith? Or are they just talking with faith? Now I know we are all on different paths with our walk with Christ, but if you are behind a fellow Christian in your walk, do not be discouraged and think you are not living by faith. I truly believe you are living by faith if you start to make it a habit that every time a storm comes, you tell God about it. In this situation you are putting your faith in Christ which leads to you living by faith. Now there are millions of other ways a Christian can live by faith, but if you are currently reading this and questioning if you just talk with faith, start making it a habit to not just talk, but walk the walk. Start off small and start making it a daily habit and when you do this, you will start to notice your relationship with Christ will increase tremendously.

No matter where you are in your Christian walk with Christ, it is never too late to start living by faith. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20 NIV). Jesus loves you so much. Even if you don’t know how to fully live by faith, God can teach you. Pray and ask Him for His guidance and He will transform you and your life to where people look at you and say “wow he/she really lives by faith”. Jesus will never give up on you. No matter how hard the Christian walk is, you can do this if you just live by faith and give it to God.

Amen.
