“And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart” (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT).
We all have a past. We all have flaws. God has the power to erase all the burdens and mistakes from your past, or present if you just choose Him. I know in all my blogs I repeatedly state that God will forgive you of your sins and wipe your slate clean, but I include it in because it’s so true. Even I have to be reminded of that at times because the devil has a way of getting inside of your head and making you feel like that one mistake was the worst thing you could possibly do. I’m here to tell you that the worst thing you could possibly do is hear about God’s amazing Word and Truth and still deny Jesus. Jesus is the key to joy and everlasting life! Who wouldn’t want that? I know I want that because I know it includes Jesus always by my side.
Life on this earth is a journey. It has it’s ups and downs. The devil can really get to you on this journey your on, but I got to say, with Jesus by my side nothing is impossible. Being a Christian can be hard because life will throw hurdles at you and can make you feel like you just want to give up, but because of Jesus Christ, He provides us all with His strength and wisdom to overcome the challenges of this world. “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33 NLT). Be filled with the Holy Spirit and let God transform you. He will bless you with the strength to overcome the trials and tribulations of this world because He already did! He sent His One and Only Son to go about this world and overcome it Himself. He died on the cross for our sins! Now that is love.
I pray that as you are reading this you will be transformed by the Holy Spirit and are blessed with the strength and wisdom to overcome this world just like Jesus did. I pray that if you are currently going through any trials or difficulty in life right now that you would turn to Jesus and let Him transform your heart, mind and soul. Have a blessed Sabbath and week brothers and sisters in Christ.
Amen.
