Do you ever feel like you seem to be drifting further and further away from Christ? I’ve been there too. Every Christian’s walk is never perfect. We mess up and stumble, but we’re not perfect, only God is. What’s so heartwarming is even though He is perfect, He loves us unconditionally. What an honor. It warms my heart knowing that because this world is such an unforgiving world. You mess up and depending on how bad you messed up, the world turns it’s back on you. Guess what…God will never do that. No matter how many times you mess up, God is still waiting for you to just come back to Him, repent and get back onto the narrow way with Him. “O my son, give Me your heart. May your eyes take delight in following My ways” (Proverbs 23:26 NLT). Jesus craves your presence, just like you should crave His. He loves each and every single one of His children despite their color, mistakes, imperfections and sins. He wants more of you every single day. Stop “hiding” that sin you keep holding onto and feeling ashamed about and give it to God. He will not judge you because He loves you and will forgive you for your sin. Open your whole heart to Him today. Jesus should be your best friend and I know from experience that whenever something goes wrong or good in my life I run to my friend to tell him/her about it. That’s how we should be with God. “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV). Seek God with your whole heart. Give Him your whole heart. He loves you so much that He will forgive you of those sins you are too scared to share. He loves you so much that He wants to hear about the best moments of your day, and the bad moments too. Seek Him with your whole heart.
