So if you live in Michigan like me, you most likely know by now our governor has extended the stay at home order to June 12. Even if you are not from Michigan, there’s probably some frustration, or fear you are still experiencing because many states in America are not 100% back to normal because of the corona virus practically taking over. One thing that’s for certain is there is a lot of uncertainty going on for us all right now. The message I bring for you today is to stay strong. Stay strong in your faith in God. You may not know what the future holds, but He does. “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31 NLT). When you put your complete trust in the Lord, I promise you will not fail. Personally, when I am further away from Christ, I start to notice that’s when anxiety, fear, and depression hit me at full force. It overwhelms me and I forget my God-given purpose. But when I am close with Christ and have my complete trust in Him, I feel free from the bondage of anxiety, fear, and depression. I suddenly am reminded of my God-given purpose and feel motivated to share the good news of Jesus! I feel motivated to start my mornings with Him, my afternoons with Him, and end my day with Him. When I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I feel unstoppable. Despite everything going on in the world currently, I know Jesus saves. I know through God, nothing is impossible. “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’” (Matthew 19:26 NIV). You have a choice during this time of uncertainty who you will put your complete trust in. Are you going to put your trust in the government, also known as man, or put your trust in the never failing God our Father?

Dear Jesus, I know during this time there is so much uncertainty going through our minds. We are all wondering when this pandemic will end and we will be reunited with our lives of seeing our loved ones we haven’t seen in a while, making money so we can pay the bills, and not have to worry about our health when we leave our houses. Please be with whoever is reading this that they will see You and put their trust in You. Only You know the outcome of the pandemic. Help us all to use this time to draw closer to you Lord and learn to put our complete trust in You. Be with the ones who are currently suffering, and thank you for healing the ones who may have had corona but survived. God be with us.
