Quarantine Season

Right now could either be the most fearful season of your life, or if you’re an optimistic person like me, you see the beauty amongst this season. I know it’s quite awful with what’s going on in the world with this terrible pandemic, but in God’s Word He says repeatedly to not fear. Believe it or not, God’s got this. You just need to put your faith in Him, and trust in His plan. Haven’t you noticed that during this quarantine season you have probably spent a lot of time with your family, maybe reading a book or two, doing an art project for fun, spending time outdoors experiencing God’s wonderful masterpiece of nature, etc. Think back to when all this quarantine stuff wasn’t going on…wasn’t your life completely busy that maybe you became distant with your families, you can’t even remember the last time you read a book for the heck of it, or went on a walk to enjoy the great outdoors. Yes, you may be experiencing financial issues, or someone close to you is suffering with the virus, or even yourself! But all I’m saying is look at the small stuff. I’ve actually looked at this season as a blessing because I’ve spent so much time bonding with my family, growing closer with Christ, trying new things and going outside to enjoy nature. Yes, there will be setbacks sometimes and the devil will try to tear me down, but I’ve noticed the more I spend in God’s Word, the less I deal with the devil’s lies. Look at the small blessings going on around you during this season instead of all the negativity. Use this time to grow closer with Christ because guess what…God is greater than the corona virus. He has a plan. Trust in Him. Give Him your fears about this pandemic. God will bless you with peace and take away your fears if you allow Him to. “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you” (Psalm 56:3 NIV).

Amen.
