As a believer, the hardest thing for me is giving my all to God. What I mean by that is telling and showing God every single aspect of my sinful life. We are all sinners, but your relationship with Christ will grow when you show all the sin, guilt and “ugly” to Him. God loves you despite the “ugly” in your life or mind. Give it ALL to Him. “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV). Don’t ever be afraid to give God the sinful side of yourself. When you give that side of yourself to Him, He is able to change your heart. “In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:6 NIV). Submit yourself to God. Give Him your all. All of your heart, soul and mind. God loves the good and bad aspects of yourself. The part of yourself that you may not like, God loves! He loves ALL of you unconditionally. “Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls” (James 1:21 ESV). When you give your all to the Lord, He will save you. He will cleanse you of your sins and wickedness so you can start anew with Him. God loves you. Don’t let the devil tell you otherwise. No matter how far gone you may seem, you are NEVER too far from the Lord our God. He will ALWAYS be there with His hand reaching out for yours when you are ready to start anew with Him.
