During these times of being isolated from the world, it can take a huge impact on our mental health and possibly make us feel alone. During these times of isolation, remind yourself each day that you’re not alone. Use this time to draw closer with Christ. If you were “too busy” before for worship with Christ, you have time now because of everything shutting down! Think of this optimistically and view this opportunity to spend more time with God. God should be viewed as your father and best friend. He has your back through every setback and every mistake. It’s your choice whether you want to give Him your all or not. “Jesus answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind’” (Matthew 22:37 ERV). Give your all to Him today. He’s waiting with His hand out ready to grasp your hand to guide you along the amazing journey He already has laid out for you. Trust in Him completely. I know life is hard right now, God understands and wants to be with you during this time of hardship. Cast your fears and worries to Him. Don’t hold onto your worries and let them hold you back from being your God-like self. You may be stuck at home, but God is there. Pray to Him throughout each day for hope, guidance, and love. He is with us. Choose Him today. I pray everyone reading this will give themselves to God because He is the true armor that will protect us from this pandemic. “Wear the full armor of God. Wear God’s armor so that you can fight against the devil’s clever tricks” (Ephesians 6:11 ERV).
Amen.
